A private Italian-American family residing in Monaco is seeking an experienced Butler to support the smooth daily running of their private residence. This is a key position within the household, suited to a polished and service-driven professional who takes pride in delivering discreet, high-level hospitality within a private family environment. The household is fully staffed, including nannies, a Governor/Governess and tutors for the children, a domestic couple, a private chef, a gardener, and a House Manager.

The Butler will be responsible for overseeing front-of-house service, welcoming guests, and ensuring the residence is presented to an exceptional standard at all times. The family entertains occasionally, both formally and informally, and values a Butler who is confident with service etiquette, table setting, and guest management, while remaining adaptable and personable. Attention to detail, anticipation of needs, and a calm, composed manner are essential.

Working closely with household staff and external contractors, the Butler will help coordinate daily operations, assist with events and dinners, and ensure that service runs seamlessly. The role requires flexibility, discretion, and a strong understanding of privacy, as well as the ability to adapt to the family’s lifestyle and routines.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a private household or luxury hospitality setting. A professional appearance, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach are key. Fluency in English is essential, with Italian and/or French considered an advantage, as many of the family’s guests speak these languages.

This is a full-time position based at the family’s Monaco residence, offering a stable role within a well-structured and respectful household.
